Suhas Gopinath is an Indian enterpreneur. He is the founder, CEO, and President of Globals Inc, an IT company.

Suhas Gopinath was born in 1986 in Bangalore, India a malayalee by birth. He was fascinated by the cyber world and launched a website called CoolHindustan.com at a young age. Some black hats hacked into the website and changed the logo to "CoolPakistan.com", which prompted Gopinath to abandon the project.

An American Company invited him to their headquarters and even asked him to maintain their web site, but he declined as he was not interested in serving a US company.

In 2000, at the age of 14 years, Suhas Gopinath founded Globals Inc in San Jose, California, US, as the laws in India did not allow a minor to set up a company. He has been often termed as the world's youngest CEO in the media. In 2003, Globals Inc reportedly lost a business deal with SingT Inc, a BPO company in Singapore, because the 17-year-old CEO Suhas Gopinath was too young to sign a memorandum of understanding under the Indian law. As of 2007, Globals Inc claims to have served more than 200 clients worldwide, with offices in more than 11 countries.

In 2005, Suhas Gopinath was one of the finalists of the Infosys Education World Young Achievers Award. In 2005, he was also the youngest among the 175 recipients of the Karnataka State Government's Rajyotsava Award. Suhas Gopinath is also a brand ambassador for PETA.

This year on December 2, 2007, The European Parliament and International Association for Human Values conferred “Young Achiever Award” to Mr. Suhas Gopinath at the European Parliament, Brussels, and he was also invited to address the European Parliament and other Business dignitaries assembled in the EU Parliament.

Mr. Suhas Gopinath was recently announced as one of the “Young Global Leaders” for 2008-2009 by the prestigious World Economic Forum, Davos. As the Young Global Leader from India, he will be involved in development programs across the world including leadership program at the Harvard University. And became the youngest member of YGL Forum in the World Economic Forum's history.

Globals Inc, the company Suhas Gopinath founded in 2000 at the age of 14 has offices spread in 11 countries and has served more than 200 clients worldwide.
